Welcome to IconicQuest. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the current website, related waitlist and account-access flows, community surfaces, and official support links operated under the IconicBound name.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, joining the waitlist, creating or using an IconicQuest-related account, or using related Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. All changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our Services after changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the IconicQuest application, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or illegal activities, or endangered the security of the Services.

4. Support Platforms and External Services

4.1 Patreon and Ko-fi

The site may link to Patreon and Ko-fi as optional support platforms for IconicQuest. Any contribution you make through those services is processed by the platform you choose to use, not by this website.

4.2 Third-Party Platform Terms

Patreon, Ko-fi, Discord, YouTube, Reddit, X, and any other external platform linked from the site are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and moderation rules. Your use of those platforms is subject to the rules of the platform itself.

4.3 No On-Site Payment Processing

This website does not directly process payment card transactions for support. If you choose to support the project financially, payment handling, billing, refunds, and related account controls are managed by the external support platform you use.

5. IconicQuest Accounts and Alpha Access

5.1 Access

Certain features of the IconicQuest project may require a waitlist entry, an account, supporter status, or manual approval. Alpha or early access may be limited, changed, delayed, or withdrawn at any time while the project is in development.

5.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the game or related services where prohibited by law or license
• Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the website, game, accounts, or related servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services

5.3 User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the IconicQuest application. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content in connection with providing and promoting our Services.

You are solely responsible for the legality, reliability, and appropriateness of your content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and the IconicQuest application, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, is our property or the property of our content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL ICONICBOUND BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IconicBound and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.

10. Health Disclaimer

IconicQuest may include or later introduce fitness-connected features, but neither the website nor the project is a medical service. Nothing in the Services is intended to provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any fitness program. Use of the Services is at your own risk.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, it shall be submitted to mediation in accordance with the rules of the European Union Mediation Center.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
